About us

One of the few constants in life is the certainty of change. Change can come in all forms; it can be exciting and inspiring or incidental and of no real significance. But change can also be dramatic, traumatic, and life-altering. Job loss, death of loved ones, divorce and family breakup, parenting challenges, mental or physical illness, or drug and alcohol dependencies can be overwhelming.

But there’s no need to struggle alone. The biggest first step you can take towards healing and resolving overwhelming concerns is talking with a professional counsellor.

Call Chloe McKinley, Registered Clinical Counsellor and Behavioural Consultant at New Bloom Counselling. I can help you address your problems in a compassionate and constructive way. Once the cause of the problem is established, we will undertake therapy and develop resources that are best suited to your needs. Whether it’s behavior-based therapy, family systems therapy, life transitions coaching, mindfulness-based approaches, or more trauma-focused therapy, I can help you to come to terms with your issue and to move forward.

In addition to individual therapy, I also offer couples, family and group therapy. I have experience working with a variety of mental health diagnoses in both adults and children/youth. I offer parenting education and behavioral consultation, as well as assessment and therapeutic services within a multidisciplinary team approach.
